Wordcamp Houston coming at ya’ August 7th (see you there?) Education, Events, Web/Tech - July 30, 2010

Okay, so it might be ironic that I'm geeking out over Wordcamp Houston on my Typepad blog – but I am a seasoned and passionate WordPress lover too.  SERIOUSLY.

Monica (of CoLab) and the Chris studs (of Primer Grey) and I (of Schipul, of course) have been hard at work getting next week's Wordcamp Houston ready to roll.

It's a one day conference featuring everything you can possibly digest about WordPress magic.  For this that don't eat the Internet for breakfast like me, WordPress is a blogging and website management system that makes anything amazing you want to do on the Internet super easy.

Matt Mullenweg (founder of WordPress) will be in attendance and wowing us with an opening keynote.  Then you'll get to absorb multiple tracks (Business / Blogger / Developer / Case Studies) with awesome speakers teaching on all levels.

As if the content and cool attendees weren't enough, everything is happening at the Houston Museum of Natural Science (thanks Erin, you ROCK). Meaning you'll be getting your geek on next to DINOSAURS, people.

Hope to see you there, I'll be the one drinking too much coffee and talking to the T-Rex about blogging.
