Italian cookbook alert! Let’s geek out over and support this week’s Kickstarter fave with a fantastic Houston-based concept and a culinary legend.
Behold the one and only Giuliano Hazan’s new past cookbook writing project and invitation to participate!
I met Giuliano (son of Italian cookbook legend Marcella Hazan) years ago when he taught a cooking class at amazing advertising guru Ann Iverson‘s house. He was funny, passionate about food and a really great teacher. Thanks to him, I know how to properly cut an onion and cook pasta. AND!! re-kindled my love of Prosecco.
Oh… and the food… let’s just say it was one of my better days of eating. Learning form a master is second only to eating what he cooks, believe me (see more photos of Giuliano cooking here).
I had cooked from his cookbooks for years before this, but something about chopping and pouring next to a Hazan really helped grow my love of Italian culinary projects blossom. In fact, one of my bucket list items is to learn how to make pasta from him, perhaps this pasta eBook was meant for me.
