There is an exquisite video collection on the NY TImes called ‘Fourteen Actors Acting‘ – brief black and white snippets of famous faces playing different minute roles with a classy string soundtrack.
Is it just me, or could you just watch these over and over all day? Hands down favorites – James Franco chatting himself up the mirror and an exhausted be-wigged vampy Natalie Portman removing her movie star ‘skin’.
Having just watched The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo last weekend (ooooh boy, that was something) Noomi Rapace’s steamy songstress is quite nice too.
