NetSquared Conference – Non Profit Technology in action! Web/Tech - May 25, 2007
Ed Schipul and I are headed off to the NetSquared Conference next week in San Jose, CA next week. We are super-stoked, especially as we are Project Champions for two very neat projects:
Kabissa 2.0: Marries power of Web 2.0 with passion of 950+ African orgs in our
network. Savvy Web 2.0 Ambassadors will collaborate through the Kabissa
site and face to face to develop and promote homegrown strategies for
employing Web 2.0 for social change.Open Source, Open Standards Video: We are to Google, AOL and YouTube what public television is to the big
networks. We are a nonprofit, fully open source and open standards,
dedicated to creating the next Firefox of web video.
Speaking of NetSquared and amazing groups, be sure to join us in a couple of weeks at the Houston Net2 meetup and hang out with Reggie Bibbs and some members of the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation.
